A wireless instant photo printer that magnetically attaches to your iPhone case. Pocket-sized. Always with you. From snap to physical photo in 30 seconds.

The average smartphone holds thousands of photos. Almost none of them ever leave the screen. Polaroid is back, film is back, Instax outsells DSLRs — people want physical photos again. But no one wants another gadget to carry. Existing portable printers (HP Sprocket, Canon, Polaroid Hi-Print) all live at home, forgotten in a drawer.
Snap & Print is a wireless ZINK photo printer that magnetically attaches to a special MagSafe iPhone case. When the printer touches the case, it auto-pairs with your phone via NFC and Bluetooth. No buttons, no cables, no setup.
Pick a photo. Tap print. 30 seconds later, hand someone a real 2×3" instant photo with optional sticker backing.
The barrier between «I want a print» and «I have a print» is the trip home to grab the printer. We removed that. 108 × 68 × 15 mm. ~105 g. About the size of a Polaroid frame. The printer lives on the back of your case — disappears until you need it.
And when you don't need it — the phone case is just a phone case. Standard thickness. Standard feel. Standard pocket-friendly.
Final pledge tiers and quantities will be confirmed at Kickstarter launch. Waitlist members get first access and locked-in Early Bird pricing.
We're not a venture-backed company with a 30-person team. We're a small group with one focused idea — and we're sharing every prototype, mistake, and factory visit along the way.
Manufacturing delays. 84% of top-funded hardware Kickstarter projects ship later than they promise. We're treating «summer 2027» as a realistic estimate, not an aggressive one, and building 2 months of buffer into our schedule.
Certification timing. MFi, FCC, and CE certifications can take 1–6 months. We're starting the MFi application during prototyping, not after — to avoid the post-funding scramble.
ZINK paper supply. ZINK technology is licensed by Polaroid. We're negotiating with an OEM partner before Kickstarter launch — paper supply will be locked in before we ship, not after.
Apple ecosystem changes. If MagSafe changes significantly in future iPhone models, we'll design the printer's attachment to work with universal magnetic mounts (not just MagSafe) — already in our v1.1 plans.
We're a small team and won't promise what we can't deliver. Honest communication, every week, in your inbox.
Lock in $20 off Early Bird ($59 instead of $79). Plus monthly updates about prototypes, factory visits, and the weird engineering decisions along the way.
